The Rainier Roundup happens on the fourth weekend of August when Blue Grass Bands roll into Wilkowski Park and many fun activities occur.
Some of the events include: Saturday morning parade at 11 a.m. (get your entry form at City Hall during July and August, Monday through Thursday), Blue Grass entertainment, Classic Car Show on Saturday, Vendors/Farmers Market - Friday and Saturday, The Historic School open for review with the Thrift Store and 'Ol School Gallery open. Join the crowd and enjoy the city of Rainier's Roundup happenings in August of 2008.
The Vendors are sponsored by the Rainier Historical Society. For a free space call Karen at 446-2303 or pick up an application during July and August at the Historic School Thrift Store or Rainier City Hall.
Some of the food to include corn on the cob feeds, breakfast at the Senior Center, spaghetti feed, barbeque, and an evening of good old hamburgers plus a bake sale by the senior center ladies.
