We need support to renovate the Historic School.  Using this historic building makes sense.  It was built with old growth timber and has come through many an earthquake without damage to it's structure.  Can we say as much for our capitol or some of our homes?  When renovated it will house many things.  Among them a local library.  The food and clothing bank is already up and running.  We will have a youth center and meeting rooms for the area.  It makes sense folks!  Please see your way clear to make the Historic School one of your regular charities.  Thank you.

Also, please remember that much of our support is volunteering to help.  Right now we are in need of people who can volunteer some time to sort for the Thrift Store.  Hours are Wednesday through Saturday 10 to 4.  Come help for a three hour shift or all day.  Call Sally 360-446-7849 or Karen 446-2303 

Food Bank could always use help, especially on Wednesday and Saturday from 9 to 12.

 We could use help with . . .  paint, paint, paint. Stripping of layers of old paint off of woodwork (doors, trim, moulding) and refinish with sanding and varnish.

DONATIONS?  Yes, we take your gently used donations.  Right now no large furniture.  (We are trying to get the remodel done so don't have room.)  You can receive an invoice for your donations for IRS purposes.  Please do not drop off items without someone acknowledging your presence.  (Did you know it is illegal to drop things off without someone present to accept the donation?)
