Again, please! Thank you to those of you who have been donating regularly.  There are many giving generous donations.  We have been blessed in helping others because you have given.

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations may be made to the Rainier Food Bank, P O Box 438, Rainier WA 98576. Thank you for your help.

Haunted House

We sponsored a haunted house in the Historic School.  What a blast.!!!

Thanks to the Lost Boys Pirates and to  Dragon Steps from Bellingham who were a huge help.

Look for us again in October 2009!

We Serve with Thanksgiving & Christmas Giving

It is not too early to start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas and what you will give.  We provide food baskets for our clients.   Also please start thinking about the "Giving Tree 2009" and save up enough to sponsor a child or two for Christmas.  You might even elect to make a regular monthly donation to the food bank (either monetary or food) as a way of supporting the community you live in.  Thank you.

Garden Tea

IMG_tea13.JPG

This event is cancelled in 2009.  We have held two garden tea's now at Bill and Bonnie Price's home in Rainier.  The tea was held as a celebration of our years of service to the community and a thank you to those who help.  Though it is a free event you may bring in canned goods or donations to help the food bank.  The tea coinsides with our birthday event so have made the garden party and birthday one big celebration.  The May  2008 tea was the Mad Hatters Garden Tea.  Oooy gooey chocolate cake didn't do much for dieters but was oh so good along with the sandwiches, fruit and veggies that were served.  A variety of events and prizes were enjoyed by all as well as the walk through spring gardens.  Look for the next tea around the same time next year.
